About Kurt
Off-center. Then on purpose.
Thrown out of school. Driven, but nobody followed. It took faith, a lot of study and a few hard miles to learn what leadership really is. Now Kurt spends his time helping other leaders get there faster.
In Kurt’s words
I had drive. I didn’t have leadership.
I was thrown out of school with just months left to graduate. I had all the answers and a bad attitude, and while friends stood by me for a while, I knew I was greatly off-center.
In the corporate world I found I could make a path to success by working my tail off. I had no patience for anyone who didn’t follow suit. But when I climbed the rungs, few followed. People wanted me to manage things. They didn’t want to follow me.
Between diving deeper into my faith and facing that truth, I knew I needed better foundations. I dove into leadership study, performed case studies and wrote the book. All those trials, failures and speed bumps turned out to be the catalyst for what I do now: helping others.
The core value is adding value. Everything that follows is the bonus.

What Kurt stands on
Three things that don’t change.
01
Faith first
Wisdom is free; all we have to do is accept her. Faith is the foundation everything else is built on.
02
Do the work on yourself
People follow the leader who has done the work on himself first, in the gym, on the bike and in the mirror.
03
Add value first
On a podcast, on a stage or in a dealership, lead with value. The results that follow are the icing on the cake.
Let’s work together
Put the story in front of your team.
Keynotes, workshops and podcasts built around one idea: the discipline that builds a strong body builds a strong business.
